This past November American Family Insurance launched a month long social media campaign with the hashtag #30DaysOfThanks. The campaign focused on a different topics we were thankful for every day and was vast, ranging from family and local heroes to abstract ideas like sunsets and memories.
Over 60 assets were created for the campaign, from American Family Insurance's corporate Facebook page and Agents Facebook pages as well as two campaign emails and 15 blog posts.
The project was a massive success, the Facebook corporate page had a 9% engagement rate as well as 12.9 million impressions from the hashtag #30DaysofThanks. The most successful post was for "Veterans Day" which had over 3,000 likes, comments and shares. The project was awarded "Best Social Media Campaign" by PR Daily.
